This one's a first for me...

Scored a nice chunk of this stuff among a larger Golden Tiger ammo purchase from a guy getting out of x39. He said this grouped better than anything else he's shot in the caliber, though I have my doubts. I've read a few older reviews and anecdotes on other forums, but does anyone here have any experience with this stuff? Good, bad, same as everything else Russian? Apparently it's old Tula from before the days of Wolf, Bear, GT, and, well ... Tula brand names. Hasn't been imported in 20 or so years. I will treat as corrosive for obvious reasons.

What say the board - stash, shoot, or sell/trade?

Well, since it has the gold primer, it's *probably* safe to shoot.

You could always do like this guy:

Remove bullet/powder from one, test on some steel. Up to you if you want to go to that trouble, but it would be the way to test it.

Is your ak chrome lined?

Have not seen that stuff in a looooong time...

As for it actually being corrosive, I dont know. But I recall it shooting ok.....

The sealed case necks and primers with the laquer coating would make me want to save it though.
