It's a bad move going alone into the woods without letting anyone know where u are going but we all seem to do it at times. Lets make sure we leave a note or let a loved one know where we are going and about when you plan to return. Could save a life.

Anytime I go to the woods I leave LJ with my flight plan. My intended destination and an alternate location. If I vary from either of those I call to let her know the change. "His cell phone was broken".... Places in MN I've been may not have a signal for miles, cell phone is worthless. IMHO, when a person reaches a certain age they need to stop hunting alone, admit it, you're getting old....
