I guess you could say I've been bitten by the precision rifle bug. Been shooting PRS with my Tikka in 6.5 cm and love it. Been looking for a while at getting a custom rifle tor un in open class. After much looking and talking and dreaming I decided to order a rifle from Masterpiece arms. I'll list the specs below and hopefully in 6-7 weeks have pictures and thoughts to share with y'all!

Action: Impact Precision 737R
Barrel: 26" M-24 contour MPA/ Spencer
Chamber: 6 Dasher
Chassis: MPA Matrix
Trigger: Trigger Tech Diamond 2 stage
Muzzle Brake: MPA muzzle brake
Optic mount: MPA BA mount
Optic: Vortex Razor Gen 2 4.5-27x56 with EBR-7c reticle

It will be glass bedded and I will be running Accurate 10rd mags with the MPA/PVA BR kit in them.

Now to get dies, brass and some other reloading stuff together for this adventure.

I've been on the fence. I keep coming back to "what would an upgrade mean for me on target?" Meaning, is my limiting factor equipment or practice (hint: it's practice)?

If I had to buy my precision rifle over again, I think I'd go with a 6mm instead of 6.5, but other than that I don't think that's what hold me back in the standings.
 
I’ll probably end up going to a bolt gun in a year or so but there are some cool gas gun options out there I’m also curious about

I am definitely the limiting factor 90% of the time. I do love the Tikka I just wanted something a bit more tailored for PRS.

@bigfelipe yes it did lol and to think I thought golf and hunting was expensive [emoji23][emoji23]

That bug dug in deep! That's one thing I tell people when they get into this sport is to go ahead and get something built. I've gotten around 5 people into this sport and all 5 have gotten addicted. Everyone of them started out with an rpr or similar and ended up within the year with a custom rig.

You have a very nice rig there. Keep up the good work! See you at the range buddy!

I ordeted two scopes for rimfires from Eurooptic today around 1300...they shipped before 1500 lol. Dudes are on it :D
I have a Tikka, too...but havent shot it yet :(
Still waiting to see if the bug bites me that hard lol
