Osprey 45 ?

I've never heard anything bad about it, but I want to try one.
You know, before I spend nearly $1000 total and wait almost a year...
Anybody around fayetteville-to-raleigh area got one I can try out?

You can drive to PHA Friday morning and I’ll bring mine.

I have the 45, 40 and 9 variants. Wish I had the Ks as well.

very kind of you, but i'm working all week/weekend.
In fact, my work load is so heavy, I was "approved" to not get a paid day off this week... On the bright side, I get paid extra for working, which is nice for a guy on salary.
Speaking of, I better get my butt in to work. They'll start asking questions if I don't get in soon.

I like them...but there are a couple negatives:

1. like most monocores, there’s some FRP
2. not user-serviceable in case that matters
3. in most cases, factory height sights are blocked...I just shoot “through the can” with mine

Not user serviceable is a killer for me.
I use my pistol cans on PC carbines and on center fire rifles with subs. Gotta be serviceable.

That is kind of a drawback. i was thinking they were more along the salvo lines with the ability to pull them apart
