I recently bought a Ghost connector for a Glock 43 that I have. Last night I decided to stick it in. When I took it out of the package I noticed that the bend of the connector was a little off from the factory connector. The innards of the G43 is different than other Glocks so I thought maybe that's they way it's supposed to be.
When I slid it into the trigger housing, it leaned out quite a bit. When I went to put the trigger bar in, I had to press the connector inward to get it all lined up. When I pressed it inward it snapped in two right in the 90 degree bend. It was a very clean break, almost like it was cut with a saw. I put the factory connector back in and got everything back together.
This morning I went to the Ghost website and explained what had happened. I said that I had pressed on the connector and it snapped. I said that I may be at fault here, I didn't know for sure. I asked if I had done something wrong and I did not ask for a replacement.
This morning before 11 o'clock I got a call from Ghost. The guy told me to drop the pieces in an envelope and send it back to him with a note and he would personally make me a connector with a little different bend and angle, much better than their standard connector. He stressed to just put it into an envelope and just put a stamp on it.
I told him that I wasn't sure if I pressed on it too hard and was the cause of the break. He told me that he didn't care if I had pounded it with a brick, they stood behind their product and would make it right. I will send it out tomorrow and report back.
