P T Barnum Knew What He Was Talking About

Someone will pay it. Just like these a-holes paying $70 for Stanly Cups I see all over the little league fields. I’m sitting over here with my Gatorade squirt bottle full of Whiskey.
Eww.
You are drinking a solvent which is famous for leaching materials out of wood, and storing it in a vessel made out of gasoline waste products famous for being dangerous when leaching into your liquid/food.

Glass or ceramic, please. :p

It’s not in there long enough to do any damage.

Buy one, it’ll be collectible one day. Maybe wait until they’re $49.99 on clearance.

lol….

Anyone willing to pay $400 for a YETI cast iron skillet is a fool.

I’d like to know their profit margin on these.

I’ll hand it to ‘em….they’ve developed quite a following, to the the point where they could put those 4 letters on anything, name their price and people will buy it.

It wasn’t said BY him, it was said ABOUT him.

Maybe. There are several other possibilities.
First recording in print of it was not till 1879, ten years after that Cardiff Giant hoax, and that was a Chicago gambler being quoted by a newspaper.

For you folks feeling oppressed, you can buy a Lodge 12” cast iron skillet at Cabelas, Home Depot, or Amazon for $25.

Yeah…

But does it come with a “Lodge” decal I can stick on my rear window and be part of the cool kids club?

No. But you can go to hamricks and get a lodge cast iron skillet with the Dutton Ranch “Y” brand logo molded into the cast iron, made famous of course by the hit tv series Yellowstone! Then you can just tell anyone that the Y stands for yeti. Haha!

I wouldn't pay that much, but that actually looks like a high quality cast iron skillet.

At least from the picture.

Lodge is just about the lowest quality cast iron out there. Which is why they're priced like they are.

One of these days I'm going to pick up something like Finex, Smithy, Backcountry, etc.

And my wife will not be allowed to touch it.
