PA GLX 2x - Does anyone here have one?

I looked through one at a gun show last weekend and was impressed, I would like to put one on my AK but I don't know if the mount I have would make the eye relief within the realm of acceptability or not or if I have to pick something else up to make it work, I'm not in a rush at all. I have heard these have amazing eye relief up to about 6", how good/bad is it at 8"? Thanks.
 
I have one. Let me get some measurements. I think 8" is dreaming though.

Thanks, and I think so too, that's why I'm asking before I buy it lol I can't recall how far I looked through at the show but now I know what the eye relief would be mount on the AK.
 
I took a photo from 3" and another from 6". 8" is not practical at all. Could you line up the shot, yes, off bags. But you're never going to keep your eye centered down the tube with run and gun.
For what it's worth, the mush you see on the lens is from the kill flash. The camera sees it, but my eyes don't.

That's all I needed to know, thanks. I'm currently running the PA 1x Microprism and it's eye relief is not ideal. The image is slightly shrunken instead of 1x and mildly annoying.
 
I also have this sight . 8” eye relief on your AK ? Is your mount the type that goes in the rear sight block ?
 
You'll need a side rail and rear-biased mount, such as the RS Regulate AK-302M with the micro ACOG attachment.

GLx 2x is rad. I love them. - They're coming out with the GLx 1x microprism which boasts "near-unlimited" eye relief. If you don't want to invest in a different mount setup, I'd wait for that one.
