During these times they show some cool programming. Watching the 70's soul special right now. The other night they had David Gilmore (Pink Floyd) Live From Pompei. That was super awesome 5 stars.
But pledge drive is the only time they show this cool programming. The rest of the time it's boring cooking shows and dry english dramas.
They'll never get a penny from me as long as they continue to host the ultra-left partisan Newshour. Wrote 'em and told them so. If the PBS Newshour is so strong they can stand on their own, but they can't.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is a Government program that gives roughly 300 million dollars per year to PBS. That amounts to around a dollar per person. I don't even like that my one dollar is keeping Newshour going.
