Been covering and uncovering the pea shoots in all this cold weather and it's getting old. So... I decided to make some tiny greenhouses to keep them safe over the weekend from the "snow".

No idea if this will even work, or if they'll get cooked if the sun comes out, but it's all scrap material so I'm not invested too heavily if it doesn't actually work.

Peas are like the honey badger, they don't care about snow...................

I see that @Jayne has finally been caught on candid camera.

If you expect temps over 60 remove that frame. We cooked an entire container of carrot sprouts a week ago by leaving the window covering it on too long.

Getting ready to build a small greenhouse. Then wanting to turn a raised bed into a cold frame for next winter.

Getting ready to build a small greenhouse.

That's on my list too, got a spot picked out and am just trying to convince the boss I can do it with minimal cost and minimal 'ugly crap in the yard' factor. The raspberries will have completely taken over the raised beds by the end of this season which is fine, I'll leave them to thrive and put everything else in the greenhouse.
