Anyone here have any experience with a pellet mill? I'm looking to build one that the rollers turn on top of the die instead of the die turning. I have a literal endless supply of kiln dried sawdust and am considering switching my wood stove over to a pellet stove because of it. Also going to build a wood gasifier to power a generator for grid tie after I purchase my next house and would love to get some details from anyone who has set up a net metering system with duke.

Where I work,we used to have some machines for making plastic pellets. They all had the die stationary, but you will need a rotating knife to chop off the
extruded rods. Look at Sand Mullers on u-tube. They use rotating rollers to mash and condition sand for foundry work. They are plans that could be
modified to squeeze sawdust through holes drilled in the baseplate.
