PETA wants to end "speciesism"

My grandpa had a couple calves he bottle fed to have butchered when I was about 9. He named one tbone and the other was ribeye. We visited a few months later and ate steak, which was very unusual since we usually ate sandwiches. He said it was one of the calves we had fed previously, my mom wouldn’t eat any more but I devoured it.

Reminds me of "Bully" when I was a kid. He was my "Dog", followed me around the yard, loved when I gave him a bath and would eat from my hand. I thought it was cool as heck when we took him for a ride out into the country one day but we forgot to pick him up until 3 days later. Unfortunately in white butcher paper, I didn't eat beef for the rest of the summer....

I raised a calf in 4H back in the 60s.
After the county fair the cafes were sold and W-D bought mine.
I remember asking my mom and dad as we ate steak about 4 weeks after mine was sold if they thought this may be my calf?
I asked this as I took another bite.

Did anyone else notice "Chloe" looks like a donkey?

Is that what makes it "Scotch" fillet steak? MacGregor was a wee bit too parsimonious to spring for the cow version? :D

Feed a Fed Horse

They trying to kill off all the horses?

I wish they’d also work to eliminate fecesism. I tired of people calling me “a piece of s***”. :(
