Congrats! I have a pre-ban AUG and an MSAR. I love them - much more than my Tavor.

How many shots have you seen from the same show without sights on AR's and the like? I can recall more then one.

I personally think its hilarious they TOOK THE TIME.... to set the guy up with a lefty AUG since he has no right eye, yet they let it get filmed that way.

I had no problems with people shooting ARs with no sights. It's the zombie apocalypse. getting all the parts you want is going to be the exception rather than the rule... but the long range head shots on zombies with no sights... even if you got windage right, that elevation would be an absolute beast. I'd at least carve a couple blocks of wood and make a basic post and notch... I've played fallout 4.

Really, it shouldnt be IMPOSSIBLE to find a sighted weapon in whatever stashes they were pulling from....would an Armory keep weapons without sights on the racks?

And as you said, by god, make some adhoc sights if you cant for some unholy reason.

I get that its sci fi, but come on....
