I have gotten to wear I pocket carry not necessarily alot but about 8 days a month. Is there something that can be applied to red dot to help reduce the pocket lint and stuff that accumulates on the dot? I try to remember to clean the red dot weekly but is there something that will help so there is less to clean off?

Your pocket carrying with a red dot? š§ what gun optic are you using? If youāre talking about your emitter having lint accumulate on it and causing issues then you would need an enclosed optic.
if simply just keeping the glass clear then Iām afraid I have no advice that would help, other than just keep in the habit of cleaning it off regularly.

Probably nothing you can put on it, but a quick wipe with a microfibre cloth before leaving for the day should get you there. As some one who appendix carries with a dot, I still have to check it daily.

365xl with romeozero red dot and 12 round mag in Alabama holster , carry the 15rnd mag in front left pocket. 5.11 stryke pants have fairly large front pockets.
The company dreamplastics makes really nice rubber optics covers. It would do the trick keeping your optic clean but you would have one more action to ready your pistol. I use them for storage and transport. Probably wouldent carry with one on.
