Rhetorical question: do our elected "representatives" never consider the impact of their idiocy?
Fools. I hope it all comes back and bites them in the ass!

Everything good about dining in New York will disappear soon. The ban on gas stoves will destroy upscale cooking. Not possible to get the same results without gas as the ability to control the heat is compromised. As far as coal I assume businesses higher than 2 stories will not be able to upgrade the exhaust system due to cost. Even one story could crush a small operation.

At least they might bring useful skills, like making yummy wood fired pizza.
I think pizza is a lot like bbq the more seasoned the oven or smoker is the better the flavor. Unless they pack up their ovens to bring with them it won’t be the same.

It sounds like typical government idiocy. Reduce emissions by 75%. Did they even determine how much all the pizzerias combined are emitting?

How will a 75% reduction look different than what is happening today (besides fewer pizzerias and the price of coal jumping from reduced demand)?

BTW, I bet just the most recent Icelandic volcano eruption was more emissions than 5 years worth of NYC pizzas.

For home it’ll move to induction. For commercial an electric french stove is as responsive as gas, which is to say, not at all.

Wonder who in charge in NYC owns a gas-fored pizza oven business.

Of course they consider it. Then they wait for the people they are going to regulate to pay them off to stop, or regulate a competitor. That's how the grift works. There is no money in yes or doing the right things. But there is a lot of money in no and meddling in businesses to start a protection racket.

am i supposed to feel sorry for the morons that vote to elect the idiots the have consistently passed laws to ruin the state???

**insert joker meme**

Of course not. You're not even supposed to feel sorry for the millions that are there that think and vote just like you, but can't leave for many reasons.

But I do, I was able to escape, but with my whole family still there, including parents still there and in their mid-80's.....it wasn't easy.

It’s like they don’t want us to enjoy things.

im very aware that there are millions downstate that dont vote for the idiots in albany that are ruining the state, however, historically nyc outvotes them by a large margin and votes FOR the morons--again no sympathy for the nyc voters

There are a lot of good conservatives that are stuck behind the curtain in the yankee states. Unfortunately, their votes are greatly outnumbered by the vast majority of left wing loons.

state level electoral college is needed

Yeah, actually the downstaters are the problem, but I get what you're saying. I was more looking at it from the pizza shop owner's perspective, not the customers'.

Oh, this is ironic.
Yesterday I was having a coworker make creds for some third party contractors to access our lab environment.

He made their password PizzaGate. It turns out he had no idea what that was, just chose random words. When I had him and another coworker look that up, there were some laughs. We still didn't change it, though. :p
