My G22 would spray plated .40s like a 12 ga, tried a Lone Wolf bbl [lead friendly etc] and not much better.
Not sure these are even touching the rifling its so bad.

Not grossly overcrimped - been loading for 25+ years and never had anything like this.

Mildly better in my Sig P239 but what a waste of 500 worth of powder and primers not to mention the bullets themselves.

Nothing but Coated lead for me from now on for bulk practice fodder.

What brand bullets? I don’t shoot 40 but still curious as plated is my preference.

Yeah, plated has always been the least accurate option for me.

What velocity are you running them at?

Not grossly overcrimped
so only plain old acceptably overcrimped?

Are they tumbling or what?

You should have no problem trading them for something more to your liking. I've had to do that a few times over component mis-matches.

I've had mostly good luck with plated Ranier, Xtreme, and RMR bullets.

Ive loaded some 9mms in the past with no issues - just the .40s seem to be horrific.

Water under the bridge - I'll buy coated from now on anyway.

Big fan of Xtreme plated 9mm ....

I’ve only used xtreme plated for 45,40, and 9mm with no issues so far. I am interested in what you find out though.
