finally picked one of these up in anticipation of the North Carolina summer. I have never pocket carried and thinking about giving it a go. What holsters have you all tried? If in my front pocket, where do you put the now displaced phone and/or keys? Thanks in adnvance.

I carry a Kel-Tec P3AT in a Galco PH436 pocket holster in my back pocket. Been carrying it for several years.

I like Remora for my pocket holsters. Cell phone in back pocket, keys and wallet in left front pocket, Remora/pistol right front pocket

Smith 442 in a Blackhawk size 4 sticky pocket holster. Front right.
It's gonna sound snide, and I really dont mean it to, but as for the things that got displaced, I found other pockets.
I did a total reevaluation of what was in my pockets and whether I truly needed it or not. It's very minimalist now.
Gun
Keys/Spare change/knife
Wallet
Phone

No big deal I know it's a weird thing to think about. I messed with it a bit today and found my front left pocket had keys, phone, and knife. Was a bit crowded. Not sure I want to move any of those things to a back pocket. On the other hand the bulge in that pocket distracts from the other.

Sticky with a LCP II in it. Front right pocket. I have actually forgotten it's there. I bought it for a Pico, but the front sight snags.

Desantis pocket holster when I feel like carrying a J frame revolver. I have used it since day 1 of carrying, still tacky and durable. My XDs fits in it as well.

Tomcat in a Remora holster. One of the neat things about the push button start is that fob can get tucked into whatever pocket and I donā€™t have to worry about taking it back out.

I put a P32 in a sticky holster in my right hip pocket where you would normally carry a wallet. I prefer this because I can acccess it while seated and while driving. My wallet is in the left hip pocket, keys and knife in the two front pockets. Phone cannot ride in a standard pants pocket or it gets broken.

Pocket holster needs to do three things:
- cover the trigger guard (duh!)
- not move around or rotate in your pocket
- stay in your pocket when you draw

Remora Sticky or a square-ish leather one with the rough side out works.

Good to know about the sticky and pico.

I saw a lot of remoras and sticky recommendations online. Hadn't seen Galco but leather would be nice. Other I saw mentioned a lot was Desantis super fly. Is that the one you have?

I got a vedder pocket locker for my p365 and really like it. thumb release tab is pretty nice but not really needed now that I've gotten used to drawing from my right front pocket. phone, keys, and wallet go left front. I have an s4 mini, not one of those giant phones I see people using. I'll check out a sticky next time at calibers, sounds interesting

Another vote for the DeSantis Nemesis. Nice and sticky, good coverage, very durable. Strong side front pocket, but I'm a lefty, so keys in the right pocket is normal for me.

I don't normally pocket carry but I do use a Remora for my LCP. If I'm out walking in my neighborhood I'll drop it into my pocket in the Remora. It works just fine.

I make pocket holsters that have a slack loop at the bottom, which catches and keeps the holster in the pocket when you draw. They are sorta like a leather Nemesis, with a retention loop.

It works for AIWB as well, if you like the "leather slipper" style (no connection to belt) for AIWB.

I've seen one like this on etsy. Surprisingly a lot of holsters on there.

The Pico is not a good one for pocket carry because of that prominent sight. Just my opinion. I use the IWB from the Beretta website. If anyone knows of a pocket holster that will let that sight come out, please post it!

I don't see the holster that I have on the Desantis website. May have been NOS when I bought it, but it is the same material as the Nemsis they currently sell. Anything to ID the model is long gone.

Pics? Sounds interesting.

This is my EDC... ugly, but it doesn't print and stays in my pocket when I draw.

No system is faster from concealment. Come we will show you.
I pocket carry. I've thrown away a bunch of failed pocket holsters I've made because of failure to consistently stay in the pocket. 1 failure is too many. Permanently fastening the holster in the pocket would be acceptable.

That's what worries me. I was in San Antonio last year when a gun fell out of a guy's pocket in the men's room of a museum. He picked it up quickly and nothing happened but not someing I want to chance.

I always return to pocket carry no matter how many times I convince myself that I'm gonna start carrying IWB.
I have too much inside my waistband already without introducing other protuberances. I have many many holsters, some a hundred years old. I guess at this point they are just something Else I collect???

I will not pocket carry without something encasing the trigger - but that's just me. I've used primarily Kramer and DeSantis holsters and never had either 'fall' from my pocket. And if it doesn't stay in the pocket when I draw, it's not riding with me.

You and I talked about that... wouldn't be difficult. Have you tried it?

I have some 1000x1000 denier Cordura Nylon, a good substitute for leather. Such a mod could go in the wash, and come out unchanged.
