Was at Walmart today in Clayton NC buying some of that Tula 9mm ammo on discount and found these.

    IMG_3007.JPG

I bought one of these smaller units (same brand, different model)about a year ago and it worked great.

I scanned it with Walmart app and it was $2.50 each.

I have a USB power tester that shows output voltage, amperage and transferred mah.

I am currently running tests on it to tell exactly what they will charge, but I am guess I should get between 1 and 1-1/2 full charges on my iPhone 6.

Would be great for camping, anytime your out and about, power outage at the house.

At $2.50 I would suggest you grab one.

I will report my testings in a few days.

For a while I carried one around with me in a pocket in my jacket or in the glove box in my car. They are kinda like a gun in the sense that they are rarely useful, but when they are they are amazing.

At the two stores I visited, they are in the electronic section, The cell phone accessories Aisle. There are some other batteries that are pretty cheap, but these $2.50 ones are located a little ways away from them. You have to look for them in the clearance section right near that cell phone Aisle

I like my Pocket Juice 12,000 mAh.

It's got a built in flip out plug, so you just plug it into a receptacle and let it charge. No extra charging cord required.

It's got two USB receptacles on it. I use it with my Galaxy Tab 4 all the time. I think it'll recharge it up to 3 times...cell phones 7 times or more.

This isn't my first, either. I left my first one at home one day...couldn't find it forever. Then discovered my youngest daughter now "owned" it.

So I bought a second one. That one ended up with my oldest daughter.

So I bought a third one.

I also bought two others, which have been given to other people.

None of us have had any problems with them. I love the capacity and the fact that I don't need another separate power/charging cord to charge the thing.

Damn good price. Gonna go look at my Walmart tomorrow and see if they have any. I've got a coupon 10,000 mAh charges each with 2 USB ports. They stay in the jeep all the time in the pocket on my seat with my solar panel

Couldn't find any...app showed Cell Phones O11, but I searched the whole cell phone section and found power cells, but not this style. And never found a section labeled O. All the cell phone stuff was in J, then there was another brand in the car accessories, but section M. Who knows?

Thanks for the heads up! I'll try to run by a WM today, at that price it'd be hard not to get one or two

Thanks for the score! They were on an end isle, picked up a dozen for $2.50 each. Stashing them all over, in the boat bailout box, truck, briefcase, etc.

Got 4 this AM from the WalMart on 70 in Raleigh. $2.50 each. They had probably 20-30 more in there.

I just stopped by the Walmart in Cary on tryon. They have restocked these at $2.50 and have a whole bunch of them now. All black ones. Some are on the cell phone accessories Aisle, and some are on a clearance kiosk near the end of the aisle

As a follow up I opened 6 and they all had only 50% or 25% power remaining. Charging a couple now and will use them on the trip this weekend. They still had a good 100 probably.

Same here with the % charge out of the box. So make sure you charge them before you put them in a pack/vehicle/whatever for later. My daughter has used one several times so far because her iPod battery is old and doesn't last long. It has been working great.

Seems to charge pretty quickly too. My Note 5 battery is showing some age so I tested one out and it was charging it pretty fast.

I didn't even put a dent in the stock. I bet they had 200 chargers on that end cap.

Hit another WM around me, haven't seen a single one. :(

(Probably won't have any of the Bluetooth speakers, either)

Not for the amount of juice it provides.
And for those not finding them in their stores, it's available.

I looked at 2 Walmarts today but only found the JBL speakers at $25. See new thread for more details.

I snatched up a PNY 7800 mAh portable charger at Walmart the other day for $5. Used it yesterday and it charges really fast!
