Do we have anyone in-state that makes a clipped pocket sheath for small fixed blade “open” carry? I keep about 1.5” of the scales exposed, or 1” with a lanyard (enough to where it’s obvious that it’s a knife and it’s in plain view).

I have a couple of small fixed blades (L.T. Wright and a Becker) that I prefer to carry over folders (less temptation to fidget and less likely to slice my thumb tip off for the fourth time). I’ve been bouncing between the Delta magnetic pocket sheath (a total pain to use) and a jury-rigged kydex/Ulti-Clip monstrosity. I have a pair of the Collector Knives sheaths on the way, but I’m always looking for local options.

That is a great idea. Just wondering what size fixed blade knife they would handle ?

Not local, but KSF are good folk (the proprietor, Derrick, passed unexpectedly a few years back).

I saw those and really liked the design, but my concern was the lack of a clip. With deeper slacks pockets, I believe the butt of a small knife (5.5-6” OAL) might become completely concealed in some pockets.

Shame, too, because that Pocono sheath looks like a great design. Small fixed blade and a Victorinox or a nice pen all in one place.

NC knife laws need just as much of an update as their gun laws.
