Ohh Daphne is still working there... well that's one plus. She's my good luck charm, anytime I've talked to her I've gotten the approved message.

Finally talked to my examiner via email... apparently there was a "signature problem" he told me there was nothing for me to do he was just waiting on the dealer to mail a form back...

I also wanted to clarify I used The Silencer Shop Form 4 Generator. It puts the scannable bar code on the form. It supposedly makes the process easier and quicker in entering the information after the NFA office gets the paperwork.

So Scott emailed me that my stamp is back for my sandman k. It went pending October 9th IIRC.

Two form 4's (suppressors) arrived at my dealer today, mailed Oct 17 2018 and approved July 30 2019.
Just one more in the system and if it clears in 9 months like these two did I'll be ecstatic.

Well I just made my very first purchase with @TARHEELSTATE it was a great experience and much smoother than I feared it would be. Now to start my wait and to try not to think about waiting on my toys to come in.

    Oooh...

That means we have a friend in common, since I got a text today that said “my friend Xxxx bought the Rev 45 and TBAC 22”. :D

...although a Rev 44 would probably be more entertaining.

Now I just need to get you both to a shoot together. So you can get your drool marks on his PS90 and others.

You don't actually have to wait. If your form was approved, the can is yours.

I've picked up several from my dealer and had the stamp mailed to me once it arrived.

    You're very welcome.

I didn't know it either, until I posted on here about my approval. My dealer saw it and sent me a message saying I could come pick it up whenever. Said he would mail my stamp to me when it arrived.

I think I did the next three or four cans like that. :)

Out of curiosity, have you experienced that? I've only dealt with one dealer, so my exposure is severely limited.

Yes. Well, kinda. He wouldn’t ship me the can like Scott does for people that aren’t local.

He said he couldn’t legally do it if I wasn’t a dealer. I simply said there’s a big difference in couldn’t and wouldn’t...as I could prove to him he was allowed to do it.

Without the dealer calling and confirming themselves it was approved, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to have a dealer balk at it.

To be clear, Scott didn't ship mine. I drove to him.

On your last statement, I totally agree. I considered myself fortunate.

Yeah, I know you went to get it. I’ve done it before as well since he’s that close.

This was a shop is Asheboro, before I found THSF and they were in the Silencer Shop network (long before he Kiosk system existed. Just another dealer that doesn’t know the available processes in their own dang business.

    5320.20 update (forms for 1/1/20-12/31/20)

    Emailed 8/1/19
    Approved 8/9/19
    Received 8/16/19 (9/10 showed up)

Emailed a single PDF with 10 pages. Each one was a different state for 11 firearms. What makes it semi-interesting is I changed OALs on a half-dozen or so and also barrel length on one. So not many of them match their Form 1 specs anymore...and all approved with no notification given. I’ve changed lengths and calibers before, without notification, and never had an issue. I know I’ve seen reports of others being questioned and even having the examiners say they’d update the registry, but I’ve yet to run into that.

But, as usual...the ATF never disappoints. Send 10 in on a single file. Get 9 back, all in their own envelope with a pink cover sheet. Hopefully the 10th one arrives tomorrow so I don't have to call/email to ask what happened.
