Form 4 Trust-1 responsible person on trust
Check Cashed: 17May2019
Approved: 18Mar2020
Stamp Arrived: unknown
I have no idea why the stamp has not arrived at my dealer yet. (17 calendar days at time of post)
I had a twenty day delay between approval and receipt with my last stamp in Oct. According to NFA Tracker the average time is 12 days....
Makes me wonder, as it's probably the same folks I use up there off Durant Rd. They've got 3 of my cans right now, and one is from May of last year so maybe I need to call them and run by.Updating: I was able to pick my suppressor up today (11Apr2020). That's 24 days from approval date. I never actually did get a call from the dealer notifying me of the stamps arrival, I just showed up in person.
After completing the 4473 and taking possession I politely ask when the stamp came in and why I was never contacted. Their response was "We don't know when it got here, and we couldn't get ahold of you."
- I first notified this dealer on 20March via phone that the stamp was approved, and confirmed my contact info.
- Due to the county & State stay at home orders they were closed 28-31March, but I did have an email exchange with them on 30March in which they confirmed they would continue to do NFA Transfers..my stamp was not there yet
- 03April I called late afternoon to see if the stamp had arrived yet...nope
- 10April late afternoon I do my weekly check-in...nope. They state they are getting stamps in 12-14 days after approval. I inform them I'm at 23 days...their response is it's probably USPS fault.
- 11April I show up at the store and tell them I have an NFA item to pick up, they take my info and come back with my suppressor and stamp (no mailing envelope).
It wasn't worth the argument so I just left and will no longer do business with them. I won't name them here but they are part of the Silencer Shop network with a Raleigh address.
Two OSS cans filed regular 556 can and Titanium 762 can
Filed about 10.03.19
556 approved 4.24.2020
Titanium 762. had a transcription error on serial, dealer told me it should be approved within three weeks.
Yep. As it was explained to me, the examiners are working from home and only making occasional trips to the office to drop off approved forms. And the mail room is only working a couple days a month. So there are a lot of forms taking 30-45 days.Shop had some stamps come back in from as early as march 2019, and recently as fast as december 2019. All in the last 2 weeks. looks like they are getting really delayed in mailing out stamps, as many I have seen were approved 4-6 weeks ago.

So here's the interesting part. Log on to check status this morning. Normally on the sidebar there are options for Approved and then either Submitted or In Process (can't remember). So this morning, I look, the only thing there is Approved. SWEET! But I never got the email they send... So I click through, says it was finalized 5/10. So I click on the form and download it. And it pops up the PDF that still has the Submitted watermark on it.
The ATF is so STUPID! Either way, I am going to try to go ahead and get some engraving done.
I haven't received the email, but I also think that this has happened on one of my older forms. I didn't really think anything of it because for that one, I got the email and it said approved. Guess I'll email these idiots.
Would almost make sense if they went back to state assigned examiners. But I know they have notMore randomness. The four approvals posted on ARF between Friday and now:
Check cashed 7-18-2019
Approved 4-23-2020
Check cashed 9-13-2019
Approved 4-16-2020
Check cashed: 22 FEB 2020
Approved: 23 APR 2020
pending nov 5th 2019
approved may 1st 2020
7 month check-cashed difference on two forms approved the same day.
But just to clarify, those aren’t “electronic” (I.e. not in EForms). I understand what you said, but wanted to make sure nobody compares them to a true eForm 1.All four were electronic form4's through silencershop.com
Right. But EForm 4s have existed in the past, even if they’re not available today. And quite a few people think that because they’re using the app and/or kiosk, instead of filling out paper forms, that their forms are being done in EForms. I’m just trying to eliminate some potential confusion for others.Hence the numeral 4 in my post.
I have used the SiShop Eform 1 service. It was very well handled. Unfortunately for me, when I submitted mine is right when the ATF came back and renegotiated their terms with SiShop over who could sign what with regards to the submission. SiShop was on top of it though and for the "inconvenience" they gave everyone a $75 gift certificate and a swag pack (hat, stickers, patch). This was because of the ATF, not SiShop, but SiShop still went above and beyond.@BigWaylon is correct. Our Silencer Sho forms are still submitted in hard copy, despite the online/kiosk component of the submission.
In contrast, Silencer Shop occasionally offer a Form 1 service which is filed using e-forms... Same company, different approach based on the form they’re submitting....
Ha!

Just got a call from FFL. My stamp for YHM Turbo came in!!!
Purchased in August.
Approved May 28
Will pick up today or tomorrow.
This one was fun. I sold my unfired Nitro to @amnesia earlier this year. So it was a Form 4 from my trust to him as an individual. No dealer involved. I printed his pic directly onto the F4. He stopped by and we rolled his prints.
Forms signed 1/15/20
He mailed them off a couple weeks later
Pending 2/25/20
Approved 5/31/20
Received 6/19/20
Must be nice!! It took 10-12 months for each of the 3 I have. Now debating what 9mm can to get. Wish the R-9 would be a little more available

Price? I don’t feel like paying $800+ for the top dawgs.I ordered 2 of the Rex silentium to keep something in the pipeline until the r9s come out.

I’m now back to nothing in the pipeline in either direction.
I think Hansohn had them at $450 before any discount code.Price? I don’t feel like paying $800+ for the top dawgs.
