Post Your Furry Friends...

FINALLY got a picture of my other one. Grover would not get out of the way. This is Bocephus -my autistic dog -about 5 years. Vet says he is a combination of about 12 different breeds. He is sweetheart when he wants to be. Good early warning system -middle of the night, car slows down on the road, he's up and barking!20200720_171011.jpg

This is my faithful fellow forum browser. His name is Grover. He is about 11 - starting to lose his sight. He likes to look at the forum , but when he gets tired of that, puts his paw up and with those eyes says "Pet me"

All of my Dachshunds have mastered that SAD, neglected hound dog look. Spoiled rotten & act like they never get any attention.

Nope, yer dawgs are melting! See, the one by the road has gone all liquidy! o_O And the closer one's tail done melted off and is lost!!
LOL!... good eye on the missing tail, we call it her nub. Believe it or not this was after like 3min outside, I guess they just wanted to lay on the warm concrete.

Both dogs enjoying a few minutes outside in the blazing sun...

So while this is nice and they look happy, if I were walking my little yapper, she likes to start sht. I like to enjoy a nice relaxing walk with my pup which I can't do when people have their dogs running around loose, especially in a neighborhood where homes are on top of each other. It's bad form. Your neighbors probably don't think it's cute.

I got the OTHER OTHER sister (Princess Poppy, Poppy, Pops, or Popsies depending on the situation)... she has the same air vent obsession! Hilarious one of her sisters is named Pickles... we seriously considered that.

(same vent in each pic but does the same thing in the kitchen)

Not sure if I have every posted a pic of this guy. Gatito 24lb Maine Coon cat.

Does your dog react differently to dogs on a leash, loose, and on an invisible fence?

Thankfully my dogs are very well behaved and know to stay in our yard. They’re not the type to bark at every passerby. I wouldn’t have them any other way.
Thankfully the sidewalk is on the other side of the street so while some dogs do walk by barking and loosing their minds, mine usually stay exactly as they are in the pic but will lift their head to see what the commotion is about.
We regularly speak to the neighbors who walk their dogs when we’re out there, which also puts our dogs at ease, and the neighbors are polite while some are impressed.
Might some be upset? Sure, people are going to have all kinds of feelings/reactions, but as long as I’m not harming them, that’s their problem. My immediate neighbors love our dogs and I know they don’t have any issues, but thanks for the concern.

This is the kinda stuff he pulls when he decides it's time for you to pay attention to him. To be fair, he put the donut on himself. I threaded the balloon through it just to mess with him.

We were hoping she'd mother him when we brought him home, but she wanted no part of the little heathen.

Thats a great looking bunch!!!

Thats a great looking bunch!!!

Thank you. They are great little dogs. Very loving, too smart by half & FUNNY little buggers. No idea they're small dogs & absolutely fearless.

Dachshunds are the only dogs I've had for 20 years now. Their goofiness & IDGAF attitudes just fit my personality.

Our youngest male sleeps flat on his back at night. He'll just kinda roll over on his back, stretch out as long as he can, sigh & pass out again, preferably tucked in close to a thigh or belly.

One of my boys nickname's is Kicking leg because he falls asleep on his back and kicks is back legs in his sleep.

Here, as a wee little hellion.

freckle monster.jpg

This fool walked in the door & instantly owned the joint at 7 weeks old. Full of piss & vinegar & the energy of a Jack Russel. Freaked our 3 older dogs TF out. Scary smart- been perfectly potty trained since 11 weeks & SNEAKY. We had to put a bell on his collar, so we knew where the little turd was. He learned to tip-toe softly enough to not ring the bell & as he got bigger figured out how to bite & crush the bell. Super sweet, loving little boy & over the top goofy.

Also an absolute titty baby & still begs to be picked up & held at 3 years old.

Felt bad posting this picture with the bed a mess. The wife is washing the sheets but I couldn’t help myself.

I’ve been shooting crows the past couple days from the bedroom window and this is what I walk into after leaving pinky on guard duty today. 7EAD8A4A-EB26-4355-8C33-44789C7555C2.jpeg
