Do we want to start another thread about businesses that don't allow Beretta's? (Posted no CCW)

I am curious about Cary TownCenter mall, I need to run over there at lunch today.

I usually always go in the Dillards entrance since that's where I'm usually going and I've never seen one.

*when I used to look.

cary mall is posted - if you read the lengthy diatribe on the doors.

But Dillard's isn't. I have never once seen their screeds, because i always go to the mall with a singular purpose, like all men, in search of one thing, and I enter the store i seek to visit, and then leave. lol.

I'll make it simple: anywhere "posted" is where metal detectors are.

To be fair, we did once have a Sears.

You know what, you're right, I did buy a floor jack from the Sears at Crabtree a year or so ago. Forgot about that.

You can see lots of nice yoga pants while sitting at Southpark Mall waiting on the wife.

I rode minibikes in the woods where Southpark Mall is when I was in 7th grade, then they built the mall, and we sat in there and looked at chicks in 8th grade.

Yep. We used to go hang out there to check out the ladies when they did the old Midnight Madness sales.

You'll be arrested for partaking in such shenanigans around there nowadays! They might even call in the elite CMPD dirt bike brigade!

My Honda Mini-trail was taken downtown in the trunk of a cruiser at least once. Didn't hurt that I was only leaving the Tuesday night woodshop class at AG Junior High and that our next door neighbor was staff counsel for the CPD.

The fact that my mom was pregnant with my baby sister, and that dad was in the horse-pital just having had hemorrhoid surgery didn't help.

Yeah, I go in through Jos A Banks to the right of the main entrance... No signs on their doors...

JC Penny at Cary Town center was NOT posted.

bigfelipe, it was the last time I was there. I know generally the anchor stores don't post but the last time I looked around at Crabtree they had all the anchor stores posted as well.

The thing is about these threads--no offense to anyone--is if I were an anti-2A business owner and for some reason hadn't thought to post my property and saw my place listed here, guess what I'm doing first thing tomorrow morning?!

My suggestion, so that I'm not THAT guy bringing a problem with no solution: post places that are gun friendly. Isn't there an app for that???

Isn't there language in the NC statue about being "conspicuously posted"?

If their anti weapons policy is written in the 47th line of the 6th paragraph, all typed in 8pt font, that's not really obvious.
That's my understanding.

Wow... Good to know. Guess they've covered all the bases now... I'm officially never going back there...
