And I say good luck with all that since the firearm and anything related to it business is in the toilet. I know what lets do to increase sales. RAISE PRICES.

The silly prices charged by ammo manufacturers is what sells reloading components.
When 20 rds of FGMM 308 is $50 and a lb of 4064 yields 166 rounds, $25 a lb sounds cheap!

Ammo prices are way down, and the way to encourage more reloading is to raise component prices? Hmmm....

Powder Valley is stuck in the middle, though. If the powder manufacturers are raising the prices, there is not much PV can do about it. In the grand scheme of things, 2% is nothing. I would rather pay 2% more (at today's prices) than to be where we were 3 years ago. Powder was hard to find, and when you did find it, some vendors were asking nearly double. I would much rather be where we are now.

I'm still building up my inventory. The target is to have enough to last through at least 4 years of a liberal administration. ;)

When demand is low, RAISE PRICES!

Brilliant solution (and self correcting)

Meh....when GDP growth is over 3%, a 2% price increase is reasonable.

good thing they are decreasing the weight of a pound of powder to 14oz almost across the board. Guess what? Other people make powder besides Hodgdon, Alliant, and Western/Accurate.

Which is heavier, a pound of powder or a pound of powder?

I was walking the show on Saturday and noticed one vendor had Clays powder in the small bottles for $19 each, and a 4 pound jug of it for $80. I was just about ready to say something it when I realized that the small bottles are 14oz. Clays has always been that way, so this has been going on for a while.

There isn't much you can do about Trailboss, there is no way you can fit 16oz in one of those small bottles. And the 5 lb jug of it is the same size as the LARGE 8lb jugs. Bulky powder is not a bad thing, especially in pistol powder.
