Kevin Dodson, owner of Carolina Firearms Training, in Sanford, died this morning from Covid-19. He had been in the hospital, on a respirator, for about a week.

Watching some of his videos from Oct and Nov he was talking about he had something implanted that was to help with afib issues.....hope he doesn't get lumped into the "Covid" group if it wasn't.

I recently, a few months ago, discovered his videos, enjoyed watching him, he was quite knowledgable.

Kevin was a good CCW instructor. Goodness knows how many people got their license via his classes. Thousands of people, I would imagine.

His class costs were very reasonable. This is a major loss for Chatham and Lee county from a CCW perspective. No doubt a major loss to his family and friends.

He was also diabetic ...

His son Chase and a close friend are trying to keep the shop going but the supply chains aren’t being nice to them. Kevin had networked and made a lot of contacts a even he was working hard to keep stuff trickling in.
