I have been truly blessed to work for a small engineering firm now for the past two decades. I could not have asked for, nor imagined working for better people, especially the man who hired me so long ago. His name is Michael, and he is what you would think of in the truest sense when you hear someone described as a gentleman. He is the most humble person I know, I've never seen him get angry, I've never heard him raise his voice, and he always puts others before himself. If the man did have a vice, it would be that he is nice to a fault. The world would absolutely be a better place if more were like him. He is early 50's, and got bad news from a recent procedure. Biopsies confirmed a mass that was found is indeed cancer. His next step is a CT scan soon to determine if there is any more of it. Although he doesn't know a whole lot just yet, my heart is breaking at the thought of him having to go through this. I would greatly appreciate any prayers you could send up for Michael, and I guarantee he would feel the same. Thank you.

Prayers up for Michael's getting ahead of this.

Prayers. I hate it when bad things happen to good people.

Prayers for Michael.

Prayers for Michael and his family!

Be aware that the "death sentence" we attributed to a C diagnosis is no longer the norm. I have twice survived lung C, 2006 and 2019. I just finished 30 days of radiation and 6 rounds of chemotherapy in July. Take a deep breath, once he gets a PET Scan he will know more.

Dude I hate to hear and hope it all works out ok for him, that treatment works.

I went through the Same thing with my Boss/Friend Ruan. 54 and Still recovering. I hope your man comes through in flying colors.

He is in my prayers.

Prayers his way from me.

12 months ago I was on 2 months of disability recovering from 25 days of radiation followed by "Radical resection of right calf" to remove a soft tissue sarcoma, followed by plastic surgery to hide the mess left behind.

Fast forward to earlier this week, and I was doing a 8 mile hike at 10,000 feet in northern NM. It's a day at a time thing and I have no idea what the future brings. The only day we know we have is today.

How fortunate you are to have such a great boss.....

Best wishes for your friend/boss. With support from people like you he will have the will to battle.

Best thoughts and wishes to your boss. Cancer sucks. Just lost my mom September 12th to cancer, and found out my supervisor was just diagnosed with Leukemia.
