Please pray for my friends mother who has been in the hospital for several days with an unknown infection of some type. Please lift up their family in prayer. [emoji1317][emoji1317][emoji1317]

Hopefully she pulls through - infections can be tricky.

Hopefully they figure out the right drug.
My wife used to be a microbiologist MLT (higher level than MT). She was the person who would culture and test the samples and tell the doctors what the infection was and what antibiotic kills it.
Back then, she took a cup of my phlegm to the lab once after the first antibiotic didn't work. Found out it was H-Flu and was only sensitive to 2 of the 14 they test for. Came in handy.
She is really particular about keeping surfaces clean in the kitchen. :D

Update. Turned out to be a UTI, but since her mother has Crohns, her meds degrade her immune system.

Not quite out of the woods yet, but the light is there.
