Just brought my uncle Jim from Galax VA down to Forsyth hospital....acute systolic heart failure.

Man's 70 years old, works like hell up on his farm (because he wants to) and has never had any health issues, until now.

He's in pretty bad shape. I'd appreciate your thoughts/prayers.

Want to be over at the hospital, but at the firehouse tonight. Sides that, if I showed up over there, he'd tell me to get my ass back to work.

As it turns out, I know this man and have known his family for a long time. They're all good people. I hate to hear of this and I hope he pulls through it OK. Thoughts and prayers.
 
He's got 'em Shane. He sounds like a tough one. He's got that going for him.
 
Goin' up. Hope he gets the best possible care and recovers quickly. Good on you for being there for him.
