Precision Rifle Picture Thread !!!!!

Not a "precision rifle" in the purest sense, but this 6.8 shoots inside 3" at 300yds, prone & a sandbag. Don't have anywhere to shoot further than that, but not too shabby in my opinion. 18" Bison Armory SPR barrel, an ALG QMS trigger & Vortex Viper 2-7x32.
I love my 6.8 too. It’s got an ARP Scout 16” 5R barrel, JAL linear brake, polished CMMG 2 stage trigger with yellow springs, Redfield Revolution 4-12x40 scope with Nikon P series mounts. It shoots well under 1” with my handloads, and helps keep the freezer full during deer season.

@hlpressley specs man specs! :)
Tikka T3X CTR 24" in 6.5 Creedmoor. Pretty much a stock gun. Trigger breaks clean as glass at 1.5lb and the action is smooth as butter out of the box. Added a Nightforce 20 MOA scope base and a set of Seekins rings. Waiting for the Athlon Cronus to arrive!

I have some pretty big plans for it. But first, I have to get up with @Frontline Defense to learn how to shoot it!

Man, you are getting hooked on this stuff. Glad you are having fun and learning something.

Been wanting to get into this for quite sometime. Soon I'll have a bolt gun, then you can teach me what you've learned!

You have access to them if you want to play.

IMG_2210.JPG IMG_2211.JPG IMG_2212.JPG Not a rifle but didn't think it belonged in any pistol thread...... will likely shoot with the most part of these rifles at 100yards.
Started life as the best damn handgun ever made.
Rem XP100 action trued
kreiger #5 barrel 1-10 cut to 15.5"
Chambered in .308
Vais brake... barreled action built by Dixie gun works.
Original stock laminated with foam then re shaped and inletted to accept heavier barrel and to effectively use a bipod. Then fiberglassed finished and epoxy coated... I built the stock myself.
Shoots under .75" at 100yards and I'm still in the break in process

Forgot the loopy ... it's a 2.5-8 eer Leupold
I tried a regular rifle scope for better FOV but it touched me the second round and I didn't want anymore of that

This started life as a savage 110 243 that my father bought me maybe 20 years ago. I pulled the barrel and mounted an 18.5 inch 308 barrel and threaded it. Burris c4 scope with the Thunderbeast can on the muzzle. Choate stock. Makes a great budget hunting/precision rifle.

Remington SPS Tactical .308
Finally got her to the range this morning.
Magpul Hunter Stock.....Bedded(By David Sink )
Vortex Viper HS-T,4-16X44 with throw lever.
Night Force 20moa base. Also bedded.
SWFA rings and scope level
TriggerTech trigger(not sure which model)
Harris bipod (All shots were from the bench and bipod.)
Handloaded ammo...175gr Sierra Bullet.
Got it on paper at 50yds and then moved out to 100yds
1st shot was a sighter at 100yds. Made a scope correction and the next 4 were in the black.
Sorry for the ''mm'' readings. That's 1.0600 inches

Just need to pick up the bottom metal kit that I was expecting from Santa and it will be god to go!

Just for fun I purchased one of the new "At-One" laminated stocks from Boyd's. I put it on a 6.5 CM Howa 1500 action with a 24" No. 6 barrel. The scope is a Burris 4-20X50 XTR ii. So far it holds less than a MOA out to 800 yards. My best group is 3/4 inch at 200 yards (3 shots). I was a bit surprised that it shot as well as it did without having to bed the action. I did have to sand the barrel channel a bit to remove a small burr and make it completely free floated. So far it's a real hoot. And for a $200 stock I'm quite pleased with the setup.

Over Christmas my sister in law (a rabid anti and libtard) came to visit and she knows I own a few guns but I usually keep them hidden in the safe while she is here to reduce the "angst". Anyway, I set this one out and she was a bit shocked when she laid eyes on it. In amazement I heard her say that it was quite "pretty". Ha!Ha! Bingo! There's more than than one way to skin a cat.

7mm SAUM, Kreiger 28" heavy varmit 5r rifling, 8.5 twist, long throat. Bell &Carlson A5 medalist, jewell trigger @ 10 ounces, Steel NF rings and base. NF 15x55 Competition. The worst loads I have made for this rifle were still pretty good. David Sink built this for me a couple of years back.

How do like that stock?

How do like that stock?

Seems nice so far. I won't know for sure until I get some trigger time. I bought it instead of going the Magpul prs route because it's both cheaper and lighter. Only thing I've noticed this far is that the cheek piece is only connected on one side so if the height puts the non attached side above or below the buffer tube it flexs a little. Like I said, I haven't shot it so I'm not sure if it's going to cause an issue yet.

My first custom build.
BCM upper and lower ,BCG and charging handle
SLR free float rail
Geissele trigger
18'' Hanson Precision Premium barrel
Coley muzzle brake
SS mrad 10X42 scope
MAGPUL STR stock
Vortex mount
I've only shot it a couple times with some 55gr PMC factory ammo . It'll do 1moa at 100yd. with that ammo.
Can't wait to work up a load for her.
