And I do not disagree

I have been a victim of over/zealous LEO that unlawfully searched my car - prior to smart phones - I got lucky and their own camera's caught them acting dirty.
They didn't wanna turn over the footage of the nonsense so they had to drop the charges. Been there/done that.

However - that is not an excuse to not comply or run

You can argue the whole thing out in court - that is what court is for.
Fighting with them on the [proverbial] side of the road will not end in your favor, ever.

It happens. I made the Elephant Lures thread as a joke since a certain lawn canine kept posting pictures of elephants when certain things happened. the thread kind of got away all by itself.
 
Here is the thing. I have known my whole adult life that there are soft failures and hard failures.
Soft failures are a PITA, but not fatal. Flying somewhere and realizing I forgot my charging cord, and having to find a Walmart so I can buy another is a soft failure. Letting your kid play on the lakeshore at dusk in FLA can instantly be a hard failure.

Shoplifting and getting caught should be a soft failure life lesson. Deciding to escalate the situation because you don’t like the soft failure consequences will almost never turn out in your favor.

Modern left culture is telling people that there are no consequences for illegal actions. Nature and other people often disagree.

Nobody ever seems to presume why the facts seem to contribute to racial biases.
Seems failure to acknowledge reality is the most desired feature of being a liberal.
I guess it must suck the will to live right out of liberals, to the point that their automatic response is always “You’re a Raciss!”
They usually omit the “t” for some strange reason. Probably busy trying to come up with the first attack grunt🤮

The reality is they SHOULD fear you at that age.

At that age, you can hold your breath and die of old age before passing out from lack of oxygen.

That kind of makes any threat of arrest, trial, and incarceration for using deadly force in defense null and void.
