If you put them in all the way they won't work their way out. I didn't watch the video but I've been using foam plugs for years. Roll them as small as you can, lift your ear to straighten out the ear canal, insert all the way (sometimes you have to wiggle your ear and/or the plug while pushing it in) then keep light pressure on the plug until it expands and locks itself in. If you do it right, they're not coming out.
I learned it for riding, as I suspect you may have, too!
Riding, power equipment and shooting. I wish I had been smart enough to have started using them sooner.
