Protac 2 mounting

Santy-claus brought me a streamlight protac 2 with tape switch for my ar pistol... how are you guys mounting your light? I have 1913 on top and mlok all around. Thought, options?

I use a HSP thorn tail offset mount which puts the light in about the 1:30 position.

That's because you're old.

I've since moved mine back another 1" or so from when this picture was taken. Keeping the lens out of the blast to keep it clean is worth the shadow cast by the barrel.

What is it with this light stuff? Freaking amateurs. I can hear a noise, identify and hit an iris at 75 yards in the dark.
