I've known about Palmetto State Armory (PSA) for awhile, but have never really looked at their products with any great regularity. About 3 weeks ago I started looking at their uppers. Between then and now, about all of the uppers I was looking at (mainly ones with 18" barrel) have sold out, and they don't appear to be being restocked. Is this normal?

Like I said, I don't know much about them so wasn't sure if they would be restocking and if so, how long they usually take. TIA

They deal in volume, and usually change up configurations every few months. I am seeing there are 4 18" barrel uppers with free shipping in stock right now. If what you have been looking at has been out of stock for a while, it's probably not going to come back. Memorial Day sale is coming up in a week so you will likely see them going back to what sells the most volume (16" carbine gas guns for under $500)

Thanks for the reply. Another question if you don't mind...... do all m-lok handguards by different manufacturers attach universally to all different makes of upper receivers? In other words, would a midwest industries m-lok handguard attach to a PSA upper receiver?

The receiver doesn't matter unless its a non milspec ala Aero's M5. The barrel nut determines what rail goes where and usually that is supplied with the rail

There are more exemptions and some one offs, but if it's a milspec upper receiver then normally the only real consideration is the barrel nut. Lots of newer free float rails have proprietary barrel nuts.
