There's a guy on Facebook selling pyrex powder hoppers for various brand powder measures. This is advertised as a way to avoid etching that occurs with some powders. Do any of you have experience or knowledge about +'s or -'s associated with this material? I'm looking at this one for the Uniflow:

I could become interested in one for the hornadys lnl drop
If it's the same guy that sells on Enos he has them, extra capacity also.

I will have one eventually. I don't care about etching, but no static cling is appealing, as is not being a flexible piece of junk that I worry about popping out when handling the measure to dump powder back in bottles. People on enos speak highly of them.

Someone on here recently got a LnL progressive that had one.

Yeah I saw that one in the pile @JimB is working on. It looked like it might also provide a better seal with the o-ring lid. I like to leave my press set up and ready and to work in frequent short sessions. It might take me a few weeks to work through a full run so leaving powder in the hopper without damaging anything or exposing it to humid air is a big plus.

I like that lid, but planning to turn one myself. I think a drop in lid will provide sufficient isolation for anything but long term storage.

When I got mine it was full of powder and had a regular LNL plastic cap on it. The cap was squishy as a result of the fumes and the powder was caked up pretty bad...tossed it in the yard.

It’s cool, but not sure that I’d buy one new.

How much are those going for? I would be interested in one for my LnL.
