Question about buying pistol in another state...

You can through a FFL. Oops! I thought he was in Tx. He will have to have a NC PPP or CHP to sell it to him privately here.

Ahh ok. Thank you! I thought not privately. But didnt know for sure if any particular out of state permits made a difference.

If he is a resident of NC and has a PPP I’m pretty sure that you can sell to him. Your phrase “lives in NC” is a little ambiguous.

Ok he is a NC resident with an NC ID/DL. But has a texas ccp
 
As stated, he must have an NC CHP or PPP. Another state’s CHP doesn’t count.
