Raleigh show 12.18.21

I usually go to all of them and never buy anything but worth the price of admission to people watch.... C&E is typically smaller than Dixie but we still like to go.

How many tables is it supposed to be

Usually 400-500, if full. It will be in the Jim Graham Building this time, so there is a lot more room for tables than when it is in the Expo Center. But, that doesn't mean there will be more tables.

I'm planning to go. Often I see members post in these threads that they will be vendors there but I never know who they are or where their table is, business name is not mentioned. If you have a table let us know what name and/or location so we can drop by and say hi and maybe even give you some business. 🙂

We are Catawba Collectibles. Look for our big banner and hard working teenagers. I don't post my business name much since I'm not a sponsor, but I admit it does make it easier to drop by and say hi to us if you know who we are.

We used to all wear CFF shirts from the first run of them, but I finally wore mine out after 3 years of constant use and the kids all outgrew theirs. lol

Good way to kill some time. Some vendors make you laugh at their pricing others were more in line with expectations. I liked the wider rows - didn't feel like a salmon swimming upstream. Got to meet @NiceOldDouble and talk about old shotguns (going to have to get one some day). Got to say 2 or 3 words with @cubrock before he got buried doing paperwork. The real miracle was not hearing a single taser buzzing

My hair is longer than that, give me credit I am a child of the Carolinas.

I do not howl at the moon but, I do know good shine while when I see it

You need to shake the mason jar and see only small bubbles to know it is good shine.

All children of the Carolinas know this from birth.

Small bubbles indicate lower proof. Larger bubble that instantly pop indicate higher proof. All about surface tension and has little to do with how good it may be

I enjoyed the spacing of the show as well. Half the crowd you normally see there but was steady. I did see a few ammo prices coming down. The primers I did see were well over priced. My favorite thing is always the older revolvers and lever action guns.

We were swamped all day. Sorry I didn’t get to chat with those of you that came by to say hi. It is nice to see you, all the same!
