What range bag do some of you use? When I was into guns 10 years or so ago I used a cheap medium sized duffle to keep things like glasses, ear protection, bug spray, wet wipes, and a few random cleaning products in. That bag has since been repurposed. Getting back into firearms a few months ago, I find myself looking for another bag. Just curious what others use and carry in theirs. I don't want it looking like a cheap gym bag or anything like before, lol. Something made of quality materials that will hold up is what I'm after. I carry ammo and magazines in plastic ammo cans. So the bag won't really be heavy. Just ear and eye protection, misc. items as mentioned above is what I usually have.

I use an L.A. Police Gear jumbo bailout bag, mainly because I got it at a great price. It's well-made and has plenty of pockets.

They have a smaller size that is of similar construction.

I have a pair of Midway range bags, one for rimfire the other for centerfire,
got two more on promo for ammo and gear.

I picked up a tool bag from Walmart a while back after seeing a guy at a match with one. It is open top so not a very discreet way to carry stuff. But the pouches around it hold AR magazines perfectly and the straps on the inside hold pistol mags. Made a perfect “competition bag” where I could put all my ammo and magazines and then set it as a complete unit into my tactical baby carrier, I mean gun cart.

Similar, I have craftsman tool bags and do the same thing - AR mags on the outside, pistol mags on the inside where the looped elastic is for the screwdrivers and such.

I have some pics of mine on photobucket, need to move them over to imgur and post

I use an old CPAP bag.

After profound reflection on my needs, I settled on a Delta Elite Clandestine Black Ops Extreme Tactical Shape Shifter Super Fly Assault Bag from Harbor Freight. I think it set me back $4.99 on sale. It works great for me and I like that people may think I'm on the way to fix a toilet. :D

That's odd. I always imagined that you'd look like you were on your way to destroy a toilet.

+1 on the Midway bags. I have a large one and a smaller one that will fit sideways in my cart. They've been used and abused plenty. They don't look any worse for wear.

This Home Depot item I use for both AR/rifle and another set up for shooting skeet. I like the outside pockets for AR mags, skeeter spray, speed loaders, tools, etccc. Perfect size for AR magazines. I like the idea of having everything visible instead of a bunch of pockets and zippers. This thing will hold a bunch of stuff like binoculars, shooting vest, cleaning supplies, ammo, and a case. All visible from the top. I use the to handle for a shooting rest sometimes. I shot my Caldwell rest, well muzzle basted it.

I have two other range bags as well. One for a light carry for a couple of pistols to an indoor range (Draco). One big pistol range bag with enough mags for a couple days. The big bag came from a gun show and it’s very nice. It will hold over 500 rounds of mags for a Glock and a bunch in the bottom if you need a little extra during a home invasion.

This one is made by Vism. Bought at gun show to support the little businessman. Optic Planet has it for the low price of $29.99, or at least it was. Very nice bag for a low price. Made in Southeast Asia like everything else of cloth.

I use a NRA gym bag thing my wife got when I signed her up and/or a 5:11 Rush24 pack I've toted all over the country for 8? years. It's fairly organizable.

Im pretty sure I have the same one pictured in Coyote.
Good little bag. Had it about two years give or take and havent popped a stitch or a zipper yet.
Got mine ata gun show, too. Think I gave $35 for it. Best cheap bag Ive ever owned.

@Tinman had one of the bags and I asked him to pick mine up at the show. I follow tinman’s lead because he’s my hero. My other shooting partner the psycho yankee Italian got one a couple weeks ago at the gun show after seeing mine and tinman’s. It’s a cult following now. If you don’t have this bag, you’re just a poser. Word.

I use the LA Police Gear bags. Get them while they are on sale. Have one for each handgun so I can carry all the extra mags and ammo for THAT gun, plus a small cleaning kit of appropriate caliber. Just have to grab the bag and go! Also have a larger bag of unknown origin that carries all the extra stuff.... eye & hearing protection, staple gun and staples and a bunch of other stuff needed for the range. Also just got a red one from LAPG and made up a heavy-duty first aid bag in case I run up on a bad accident (or get in one). That's in addition to the smaller IFAKs with tourniquet and Quik Clot.

LA Police Gear has them ON SALE today 21 July along with the smaller one and their 3-day backpacks. ALL of which I have and use and they are good!

This one is $29.99, the smaller one is 18.99 and the backpack is $29.99 now thru Sunday night at midnight, PDT

I ordered one of the Jumbo bailout bags a couple days ago on Amazon. $39 with free S/H, so I came out close to the same price.

This is what I use! You can't see but a sliver of it but I also have a big camo range bag from Midway but this hard box has wheels and a handle that pulls out. It''s about $40 online and holds a lot of stuff.
