The ratcheting screw driver is a good idea, I have one for the house I'm sure they make one w hex bitsI used to carry my Leatherman MUT when shooting rifles, it has a couple torx.
Also Husky (Home Depot?) has/had a little racheting T handle that came with a decent assortment of 1/4 hex drive bits in a smallish case.
Or find a racheting screwdriver with handle storage and stock to your liking.

What tool(s) do you guys bring to the range...
Luckily I don't have that problem all too often, but its usually pretty quiet when I go. surprisingly for the most part Saturday afternoon isn't too busyOn a few occasions, I didn't have to bring any tools...
They were already at the range when I arrived.
I like this idea, might copy youI've assembled a tool kit in a little maxpedition bag that I stick in a big pocket in my range bag.
It's actually got a ton of stuff you can't see like batteries for all my optics, zip ties, C-clamp, extra AR/CZ parts, springs etc.
