I have a 300 BLK SBR with 8.5 inch barrel, currently sporting a PA RDS that I used when it was in pistol configuration.
Main use is deer hunting in mostly wooded terrain.
Looking for recommendations on a better sight, a RDS, without breaking the bank, $300 under range.
TIA

What’s wrong with the PA?

I have a PA Aimpoint clone on my .45-70 Mountain Gun & if that big bastard can't kill it or knock it outta zero, it'll be just fine on top on AR. Also have the Vortex Strikefire II on my 10.5" .300BLK & it'll bang a 10" gong consistently at 100yds. I'd keep shots on deer at 50yds or less, but that has more to do with my eyes, than the sight. In the brush/woods we hunt, most shots are inside 25yds & often 10 or less.

Second that! They have a substantial inventory and by all accounts are a stand-up company with good CS.
