Ready to Go In The Morning

That is normally a solid traditional lineup. Covers most things. I've gone to always have a Senko, preferably wacky rigged and a drop shot rig on board also. A 4-6" straight tail worm on a drop shot rod will sometimes catch fish when the going gets tough. And I am really learning to enjoy swim baits over the last few years instead of a spinnerbait.

Good luck.

That should put fish in the boat.
My spinner bait would have chart./ white blades.

We'll be expecting a report, good or bad.

My two favorite colors when I lived in CA were black/red and a awful bright pink version. My fishing buddy used to laugh at my when I threw it, but on lakes with trout stocked out there it was money. I don't throw spinners very often any more but do love the chartreuse color for smallies up north.

Rappla XRap is my go to. It or a deep diving crank will replace the rattle trap if need be.....depending. I'll try the Texas rig weedless, will switch to drop shot if the going gets tough. I watched some videos of bass not paying attention to worms on the bottom, but would hit it suspended. Drop shot makes sense. Couldy in the morning, so if it's a bit choppy I may be working the spinner and buzz baits.

The only thing I catch when I go fishing is a buzz. Good luck to ya. I'm sure everyone knows the ole saying about a bad day fishing and a good day at work.

Man I fished a pond the other night and didn't have my cameras. But I was throwing 2 different types of frogs. They wouldn't hit them if I was twitching them slow like they do on my pond. But if I threw em out and cranked em real fast across the top you could see the waked where they were coming up behind them right before they smashed it. Would've made awesome video

I actually wacky rig a drop shot rig when desparate. It's nice since you can leave it in a spot but still have some movement of the bait. But that's the great thing about fishing. There may be some consistent spots and patterns, but nothing is 100% so it keeps you learning new tricks.

Frog fishing is a blast. But sometimes they miss or spit it out so quick you have no chance. But you can land some hawgs in the gunk.

Sounds like it's Jitterbug or devil's Toothpick time!

Jitterbug is still my favorite too water bait. But not the little ones, the big jointed black ones. All my big big bass have been caught on that

Dang right! I love throwing one of 'em on a good moonlit evening. Even when they shortstrike, it sounds like someone throwing a cinderblock in the water!

Actually went to Lake Tabor.......

Bunch of little ones on plastic worms near stumps and trees. One decent caught on a Rattle Trap. A few decent strikes on the spinner when it got a little choppy, but they didn't take it good, no trailer. Jerk bait didn't produce any strikes. Shallow dive crank bait didn't work out either. Water was very muddy. Had to throw it in their face it seemed.

My hands down favorite big bass bait is a small brim hooked under the dorsal. I use live shad in the lakes and fish them under a popping cork. For artificials I am partial to a black Zara Spook or a zoom lizard.

You don't catch many, but nothing quite like a nice bass on a fly rod with a deer hair mouse. Sounds like a toilet flushing when they suck it down. But the biggest bass I ever hooked into was on a farm pond throwing a hula popper. Had to be close to 10#. Broke me off then tore the rear hook out and I managed to fish the popper back out of the pond.
