Rebuilding a P226

Picked up a preowned 226 that looks like it was dropped in a blender. The front of the grip is seriously chewed up and the frame has major gouges. Great price though,<$400. Question: if I buy an after market frame (ie Matrix), how difficult is it to swap out the parts in the donor 226 to the Matrix frame?

He has pretty comprehensive videos on installing and changing parts on the sig p226 and I've used his videos for all my parts installs on mine. He has great tips on how to do things including tool tips to make the job easier.

It was so bad I took matching automotive paint to try and cover the gouges. Looks ok but is a beater, and I don’t want that.
