Those Ebay coupons come in handy every once in a while. Managed to snag this for $250.

It's got vodka runes on it, so it's got to be good, right?

Carrying case is some janky Russian camo. Which I kind of like. It looks like something from GI Joe, or flecktarn someone smoothed out with an iron.

These sights are serious business. The "manager of the company" even signs off on them.
As it turns out, this thing's been sitting in someone's possession, unused or lightly used for the last 18 years.

A lot lighter than I thought it would be. I've never had a Kobra before. The other side unfortunately has a giant logo splashed on it.

It's got several reticles, but I'm a sucker for a chevron. There's also a chevron with a dot, a plain red dot, and an "open T" that probably works well for close range, but not for any sort of precision.

Oh, and I picked up one of those Vepr things this week too, but not from Ebay.

Nice! Kobra FTW. Mine has seen a lot of use and definitely shows it, but it still runs like a champ. Chevrons and AKs - classic.

Which seller on Ebay did you purchase from? It is my understand that there are a lot of fakes and knowning a reputable seller to reference would be great. Thanks in advance.

It wasn't one who has any more. They didn't even really have a good idea what it was they were selling.

This one isn't fake. The Chinese never bothered to fake the big billboard EAA put on the side of the ones they imported. If you find one with the EAA logo, you can trust it.

If you're looking at getting one, you can hit up Google- there's a couple guides showing the difference between the real deal and the fakes.

I always wanted one of these, as well as the PK-01 VS, but I was always so hesitant due to the warranty issue. I mean, if something happens, you're pretty much SOL. I have just stuck with Aimpoint for that reason.

Very nice score, though. They're sick optics. I love them.

I've had a PK-01. They're heavy duty, but they're also heavy.
For less weight you could throw an Aimpoint on an RS mount and have about the same thing.
