Years ago bought a colt commander through the forum before the forum before the forum. Had lots of undisclosed problems, but have worked most of them out with help. I like the gun, it points extremely well for me, but as a result of some misguided attention to the feed ramps it doesn’t feed as reliably as I’d like and there is less chamber support than Colt originally intended.
I’m thinking that maybe I have a ramped barrel installed, or maybe a ramp insert and a new unramped barrel. Looking for thoughts on either approach and a recommendation for someone to do the work.
