Red Dot Sight

I had a red dot on an air rifle until the bulb burned out (?). I'm pretty certain the recoil had nothing to do with it. Bad juju for small vermin.

I shot it a lot and it worked just fine. I left it alone for a few years (possibly turned on) and it then no longer worked even after replacing the battery.

I'd just carefully do some research regarding one designed for air guns, which apparently beat the crap out of scopes.

But there has to be dots made for airguns.

Question: Will a Red Dot Sight work on a Gamo Whisper rifle with the spring impact?? Thanks in advance..
Get a lifetime warrantied product that doesn't state Don't use on air rifle.
The fore/aft recoil on a srpring powered air rifle is what does the damage. The MRD's are designed for the slide cycle on a pistol so they should be just fine.
My RWS Diana 48 sent the objective lens flying on an air rifle designated scope.

Our lifetime warranty includes normal wear and tear, not just "manufacturer defect". So try this little fella out:

If it dies, then we both learned something-- I don't know anyone who has put one on an air gun yet. My work email is [email protected] so let me know how it shakes out. If it works for you, problem solved! If the air gun kills it, we'll make it right and you can put the red dot on something else and you lose nothing.

Now that's backing up your product!
