I'm looking for a good red dot sight for a up coming AR build. Needs to be semi tough. Will be a beat around / SHTF type rifle.

I'm looking at the eotech 512, sightmark wolverine ( have heard alot of good things) and primary arms micro.

Any of these good? Max $400 budget if you have other recommendations. Thanks

The PRO is the best option.

Second option is the MRO for just $75 more from me.

Lastly the primary arms is last

This ranking is based on your price point.

You can find aimpoint at that price point.

Awesome. I didn't know I could get a aimpoint for $400ish. I think that's the way I will go.

Thanks guys!!
You can get a Trijicon MRO for $493 from Botach. Might be cheaper some other places.

I have the MRO with this mount, although they didn't have it included for this price when I bought mine. I'd come up with a few more bucks if you are able and jump on this. Great deal.

I would recommend checking with @JBoyette before buying from botach.com if you are able and willing to go a little over budget. Just saying .... :D

Remember you need a mount too.

Yeah, I would too, and if he can beat that price, then go for it. The one from Botach comes with a nice QD mount.

Did you ever decide on an optic yet? Most of the links above I don't see any discounts.
I use and Aimpoint PRO on one of my rifles and it's a great red dot for the price. I also picked up a Vortex SPARK AR when one of the online vendors was running a $139 shipped sale, it's not the best but if you want cheap and reliable it's not a bad optic. The SPARK compares to the PA and Holosum red dots, plus Vortex has a no questions asked warranty.

If you shop around you can find great deals on better optics.
