What sized punch do I need to drive out that pin that holds it in place? It's looks smaller than my 1/16" punch.

Thanks in advance.

Are you using a roll pin punch or a regular punch? All my 1911s use 1/16" roll pins on the ejector.

Just check both Colts are 1/16" roll pins. However neither are 9mm. Both are also Series 70 models ... maybe that could add a variable to it???

Thanks. Brownells carries the Colt replacement ejector too, but no picture. I just posted a question there to see if I'll need to drill it, or if it already has the notch on the front "leg" of the ejector for the pin.

So I was just getting ready to order a new ejector. Then I read...

"blah, blah, blah.... It is therefore not recommended to attempt any ejector removal or installation by people other than qualified gunsmiths."

Challenge accepted. Last time I got yelled at by an armorer for messing with things I know nothing about, I fixed whatever it was I was working on.

Some of us can just fix shiite.
