Went out to eat lunch today and seen a kitten wandering around the dumpster. I know the manager and we talked about the kitty.... he said that she has been there for about 3 weeks. The employees had been feeding her here and there.

I could not leave her there. It took a while to get her to warm up to me. My daughter came by the restaurant too for lunch a little later than I and she and the grands help me corral her.

We plan on taking her to the Vet to get checked out Monday..... barring any power outages.

Good for you! I've got 2 black cats that someone put in my dumpster 2 years ago. I don't understand how some people can sleep at night.

16 years ago, we were shopping for flooring at a warehouse and a lady was walking around with a little kitten draped over her arm. I commented on it and without saying a word, she handed him to me and walked off. We ended up taking him home and he was the best cat you could ever ask for. Until he got old, he didn’t have an annoying bone in his body. Every morning I would sit on the couch with my coffee and he would come and curl up beside me. Sadly, he developed cancer and we had to say goodbye to him about a month ago.

Karma isn’t always a bad thing and the best things in life are often free.

Kudos to you. My wife brought home a black cat when she was getting an oil change last year. She’s still half feral(wife and cat), but is a heck of a hunter. Just realize that if it is semi-dark it will feel like you are looking in to the void. This picture is with her eyes open.
