Retention holster

I am looking for a holster to hold a pistol on my belt while running at competitions. Currently looking at a gcode xst or a safariland 6390. Thoughts? Anyone know about either?

well....yes. But my speed is more "shoot n scoot"

Lots of RnG guys are running the G Code stuff. I use a Dara.

I have 2 of the safariland 6390rds models, one for Glock and one for Sig p320. I love them, because I can run multiple types of gun/light/RDS combos. The ALS mounting system is also very nice.

So if I bought a 6390 for a glock with a light, it would be secure with and without the light? And would work with different lights?

yeah it’ll work, but like @Fred mentioned it will sit a little low and have some play in it.
