Despite a number of negative comments on the Sig Romeo - specifically the 5 - I'd like to offer a few personal observations.
I put a 5 on my Ruger PC 9 and found it ideal for the platform. It is easy to mount and easy to use. The red dot adjusts extremely well from low light to the brightest sun with only a little blooming in very bright sun, which does not impair aiming.
I have never been an optics guy, but I have had a 'road to Damascus' moment over the past year and the Sig makes me a better shot with the PC 9.
I can even vouch for its drop test claim, as the first thing I did was bounce it from chest high off a concrete floor while installing it, resulting in one small scratch to the finish on the mount and no further damage.
I used it to sight in my PC 9, and the results are below (10-shot groups, 25 yds, offhand). Group inaccuracies can be blamed on me and the deer flies feasting on my flesh.
Iron sights @ 25 yds
Sig Romeo 5 @ 25 yds
