This place needs a dedicated revolver picture thread. I'll start us off...

Here are a few 3" K Frame Smith & Wesson revolvers. Clockwise from bottom left (1) Model 13, Model 64 NY-1, Model 65, Model 10-7, another Model 65 at bottom center.

Let's see what you've got. Post anything...new revolvers, old revolvers, your favorite carry revolver, etc.

Here's my 686-1, Taken last week at the range. Bought it unfired from a collector 2 years ago. Its not unfired anymore. :D

I'll take a few more pics of the rest of my collection in the near future.

OK, very cool, I see a bunch of revos!! How much interest in me setting up an ICORE club in NC?? Would run a match in Oxford, NC and one in Jacksonville, NC maybe 4 per year at each location?? I tried ICORE matches in the past, but just not enough turnout to make it worthwhile. Please give me some feedback, thanks!!

I'd definitely be into it if the distance wasn't a factor.

Oxford and Jacksonville NC for now, hope that is within distance, it sucks that there is really no ICORE on the East Coast to speak of

A big revolver fan and I see some nice ones in here. Here is my 686+/586+ collection. I have others in 357 & 44 mag but my favorite is the 686+.

Love me some single action revolvers. Here's my .41Mag 5.5" s/s Bisley Blackhawk & 5.5" s/s Single Ten. Not shown is my blued, 6.5" .357 Blackhawk, an absolute tack driver. Soon to be added (& pics updated) is a .41 Mag Bisley SBH Hunter.

A more recent pic of the Single Ten, along with its buddy, a '59 Marlin 39A-

My current Wheelie family portrait. Forgive my amateur photog skillz... Couple 29's a 28 and a 637

I've also got a Taurus 2.5" Model 66 that's been my everyday truck gun for over 20 years. Always goes bang & puts the bullets where I want 'em. I do like d/a revolvers as well & would love a S&W 657 Classic Hunter at some point, but my first love are my single actions.

Another great revolver / photo from Cocked & Locked.

I like the idea of .44 Mag but have to admit that they are hard for me to shoot. Have a 5" 629 wearing rubber Hogues and it is punishing. How does it feel to shoot that with stag? Then again, maybe I am just a sensitive little feller.

Try to find the Hogue X Frame grip. It fits on the N frame and offers more cushion. That's what I have on my 5" 629 and it makes a huge difference.

Painful if shooting factory loads or equivalent hand loads. I tame it down and shoot mild-to-warm loads of cast lead and not too bad. Hotter loads with 2400 powder and Hornady XTP's = not fun.

Smooth wood grips are my preference.

Tim - I would really like to find the orange or yellow X Frame grips. Good idea.

C&L - I like the smooth grips and the Simply Rugged Sourdough Holster. Had the same one in black.

Never been a .44Mag fan for that very reason. By the time I found a .44 that I actually enjoyed shooting (a friends 7 1/2" Redhawk), I'd already gotten hooked on the .41Mag.

Here are a few that I own or have owned over the last few years...

This first one is a family keeper. It is a 1952 S&W K-38 "Pre-Model 15" This revolver was handed down to my Dad by his uncle who was a police office in Ringgold, GA. It was the first handgun that I ever shot as a kid. Spent many GREAT weekends shooting this beauty with my Dad. My Dad passed away in 2004, but my memories will always be with me, as will this revolver!

Nice S&W's

I really like the 64 no dash. Don't see the skinny barrel ones around much at all!

Beautiful. I'll echo Cocked & Locked on the soinny barrel. Don't see a lot of those in stainless.

Here's the video from when Patrick and I took her out for her initial run.

It hurt a little - LOL

It's just 45-70 that was scaled down bit.

Makes dime sized holes in just about anything
