Revolver Picture Thread

You can get next winter's wood off the bottom and they should be fine.

These are Bianchi Lightning grips. There was around for awhile, a few decades ago. They are rubber grips with a built-in hammer shroud. They are both a bit heavy and sort of ugly, but they are a part of revolver accessory history....so, they have a place here. The extra weight is really noticeable on the K Frame grips. This is a Model 36 and a Model 10-5.

For some reason, a lot of photos are not showing up. Trying to fix it. I believe that it is a phtobucket problem.

I think I'd like a set of those for my Pitbull!! (Or at least try them)

How about some really old revolver action. According to the letter from S&W, dates back to 1861. Probably been in the family ever since.

Can you tell us more about it? What model? You have a letter...to where was it shipped originally?

Oh s**t. I need to go change my shorts.

This might be one of my favorite revolvers photos. Where is this wonderful place?

I took this photo a few years ago, when I really had that "fever".
When someone says, size doesn't matter, I say "yea, rigth".....[emoji57]

acl864 is right. We only made it to the 5th page of this thread before Cocked & Locked dropped the money shot. It's all down hill from here.

Not one to be outdone...I also have a two tone revolver. As you can see from the factory letter, this was delivered to NASA in 1969. Some of the nickel is peeling. I understand that to be from exposure to radiation in space. This was carried by astronauts.

You win the Friday AM Internet prize.
Funny stuff, thanks!

A couple more revolver barrels arrived. Really have no use for them. Just could not help myself. Model 10 2" and Model 19 2.5"

Hiking in 40 Acre Rock with a 3" Model 60....one of the easiest packing light hiking revolvers.

EDIT: Want to add...that those are old rubber grips by Sile. Took off the fancy pants wood grips because all the sweat, dirt, etc. The Sile rubber is great. Big enough for three fingers but flat for easy concealment beneath a T-Shirt.

Just putting a few pics here...this is the new Smith & Wesson 66-8 with a 2.75" barrel. Started another thread with more information.

Wow...fine looking Cobra sporting the Herrett's Shooting Ace wood!

Bad Ass Bulldog .44 is not in the same class as the Cobra. But, if you choose to do so, Tyler T-grips work great with the Herrett grips.

Don't see many of those old squeezers around any more.
